SWIMMING UNDER GUIDANCE

For a blind person, swimming in large swimming events in a large dam could be quite a challenging experience. The sighted guide would swim next to the blind athlete usually guiding him/her with a flexible type of strap. The blind swimmer is totally reliant on the sited guide for direction, and has to put up with other swimmers kicking and splashing all around him/her."
